The Playwrights’ Center, a non-profit arts service organization devoted to supporting playwrights and the development of new work for theater, is seeking an Education Coordinator to assist the Membership Director in administering and growing the educational programs and resources provided to its 2000 playwright members around the world. The Education Coordinator (EC) is a new position at the Playwrights’ Center. The EC will work closely with the Membership Director to program and implement educational resources provided to playwright members all over the world, the New Plays on Campus membership program for student playwrights around the country, and assist in the accessibility and community outreach efforts of the Center. The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated with a background in theater arts and education. Qualified candidates should have outstanding communication skills. A knowledge of database software, marketing programs, and content management systems is a plus.
